This calendar/cycle is called the precession of the equinoxes and is approximately 25,920 years long. In astrology, this cycle is divided into the twelve "Ages of the Zodiac." The end of this cycle has been associated with numerous predictions, most of which revolve around the idea of an Apocalypse. An Apocalypse (from the Greek word for "lifting of the veil" or "revelation") is a disclosure of something hidden from the majority of mankind in an era dominated by falsehood and misconception, i.e., the veil to be lifted. I am fully optimistic about this ancient cosmic cycle of change and our growing understanding of where we came from and how old we really are.
For example, if you ask the Hindu's about the four Yugas and our ancient past; they state, not speculate, that we are billions of years old and are just one species among thousands of intelligent life forms in the universe.
Our ancestors of ancient cultures and civilizations have created a wide variety of myths, prophecies, stories, legends and spiritual teachings, worldwide, about the 'Third Eye.' This physical piece of hardware located in your body, nestled deep within the geometric center of the brain is called the pineal gland. Within this gland, it is believed that telepathic, creative, inspirational and intuitive transmissions are received in the form of archetypal thought forms; connecting us not only to the holographic universe, but angelic, extraterrestrial and inter-dimensional beings.
